Hello and welcome to the ECHO's Everton FC live blog for Tuesday, October 10.
Heading into the international break means there is no club football to look forward to this weekend, although the Blues did a fine job of handing off in style with a 3-0 win against Bournemouth. That result alleviated some of the pressure on Sean Dyche and the players, but the hard work cannot stop there.
Whilst there is no on-field action, there is plenty of transfer speculation flying about. Everton have been warned of competition they might face to sign Blackburn Rovers midfielder Adam Wharton whilst Hoffenheim's Maximilian Beier is said to be of interest. Even former player Wayne Rooney is set to be on the move, as he seems destined to be announced as Birmingham City manager.
Also look out for Michael Ball's ECHO column, the second part of which is published today.
