Everton have progressed to the fourth round of the FA Cup after a tight 1-0 win over Crystal Palace.

Joao Virginia - 8
Produced four great saves to ensure his side booked their place in the fourth round of the FA Cup. The best during the opening 45 minutes arrived just seconds after Andre Gomes opened the scoring when he denied Tyrick Mitchell. He then denied Eberechi Eze, Jefferson Lerma and Nathaniel Clyne during the second-half.
Nathan Patterson - 7
Solid performance from the right-back. He looked to get forward as much as he could and was defensively solid. Produced a great block during the second-half as well.
James Tarkowski - 7
Lucky to escape a booking in the opening stages for a rash challenge. However, from there, he was dominant and dealt with the physical threat of Odsonne Edouard well.
Jarrad Branthwaite - 7
Much improved display from Sunday's against Aston Villa, where he dived in on a couple of occasions. Showed a great turn of pace on two separate occasions to stop Palace from getting in.
Vitaliy Mykolenko - 7
Produced a great block to stop a Lerma through ball reaching Edouard. He found himself in the right position on a number of occasions to cut out Palace attacks. But he could have linked up more with Dwight McNeil.
