Everton are making ‘good progress’ on securing a stadium naming rights partner for their new home at Bramley-Moore Dock.
The Toffees are set to move into the 52,888-seater stadium on the banks of the River Mersey in time for the start of the 2025/26 season, with the commercial team now focusing efforts on trying to bring on board as many key partners as possible, including a stadium naming rights partner.
Before the sanctions placed upon Russian businesses and individuals operating in the UK following the military invasion of Ukraine in early 2022, Everton had agreed to a £30m deal with former club partner USM, with the deal giving the firm first refusal on the naming rights of the new stadium.

But with the suspension of USM, Yota, and MegaFon as Everton sponsors due to their Russian ties, the club had to go back to the drawing board over the issue.
In October 2022, Everton engaged US firm Elevate Sports Ventures to aid the search for a stadium naming rights partner, the first that the Toffees have ever had, with Elevate having worked with US sports teams such as the San Jose Earthquakes (MLS), and Pittsburgh Steelers (NFL) to secure long and lucrative stadium partnerships.
Everton’s chief commercial officer, Richard Kenyon, gave a commercial update to fans on Wednesday, via the club’s official website, and addressed the stadium naming rights search.
“We are continuing to make good progress in respect of stadium naming rights as we look to secure a suitable partner to benefit from this unique opportunity,” said Kenyon.
