It's barely 48 hours on from Liverpool's League Cup triumph over Chelsea but it's already back to reality for Ben Doak.
Just a couple of days earlier, the injured winger had been out on the pitch at Wembley at full time, picking up his first medal as a senior professional and soaking in one of the most memorable days of Jurgen Klopp's decorated tenure as manager.
But while Sunday February 25 will no doubt have gone down as one of the best days of the young Scot's fledgling career to date, by Tuesday morning, Doak was back to the coalface, tasked with completing an online assessment at Liverpool's AXA Training Centre.

"You see, on the pitch at Wembley one minute, starting an online course the next," jokes Liverpool FC's Under-18 Education Officer Ted Smith. "These are levels you have to be at when you're at a country-leading education department!"
The effort to turn teenage hopefuls into Liverpool's stars-of-tomorrow goes much further than just what they are taught on the pitches of the club's thriving Kirkby base.
While Academy director Alex Ingelthorpe and his coaches have put the foundations in place for the youngsters to build their careers on, preparing them for the trappings and the pitfalls of professional football is about much more.
