Chelsea's midfield maestro was a big miss from the squad against Brentford having played in every other game so far this season. His partner gave birth to their second child earlier in the week which had raised speculation that he would miss the game for that reason but his manager explained before kick-off that there had been a fitness issue as well.
What Pochettino said: «Yesterday, both Enzo [Fernandez] and [Mykhailo] Mudryk felt a small muscle issue but hopefully for the next game, they'll be available.»
