Former Premier League and Champions League winner Ramires looks unrecognisable eight years after leaving England for lucrative move to China. The midfielder spent six years in the UK playing forChelsea between 2010 and 2016.
He won five major honours during this period with the Stamford Bridge club, including the Europa League, FA Cup and League Cup. However, he now looks completely different in a recent picture on social media.
A photo has emerged of him in his homeland of Brazil with a full head of hair, after having none while at Stamford Bridge. He is also wearing a black vest, allowing people to see the tattoos that cover both of his arms, which were rarely on show during his career.
Ramires was a popular figure at Chelsea who is arguably best remembered for his stunning chip that sparked the Blues' comeback at the Nou Camp in the second leg of their 2012 Champions League semi-final against Barcelona. After winning the first leg 1-0 at Stamford Bridge, Chelsea looked set to lose out to Pep Guardiola's all-conquering side in the return match as they fell 2-0 down and had John Terry sent off.
However, in the closing minutes of the first half, Ramires latched onto Frank Lampard's through ball and lobbed the onrushing Victor Valdes to get his team back into the contest. Chelsea stood strong in the second half and secured their spot in the final when Fernando Torres netted a last-minute goal.
The team from west London went on to triumph over Bayern Munich in a penalty shootout in the final, but Ramires didn't play because he was suspended. However, he did have a standout moment in a final that season, scoring the first goal inChelsea's 2-1 victory against Liverpool in the FA Cup final at Wembley.
