Bayern Munich are second in the table, and the German club announced on Wednesday that manager Thomas Tuchel would be leaving at the end of the season. Alonso is reportedly the first choice to replace Tuchel at the Allianz Arena, meaning Liverpool could face a battle to appoint their former player as Klopp's successor.
