Football fans are not happy with the SABC at the moment.
The state broadcaster is under fire from fans after they failed to televise Bafana Bafana’s friendly against DR Congo.
The two sides met at the Orlando Stadium at 5 pm on September 12, but fans were caught off guard when they couldn’t find coverage of the game.
Instead, the SABC asked fans to stream the game online, leading to more criticism.
Some fans couldn’t understand why they were asked to stream a game played in the country, but international fixtures were shown on TV.

FootballWhile Bafana’s official Twitter account and SABC Sport had updates and some scenes from the game, it was still frustrating for many that they couldn’t watch the team in action.
To make matters worse, many fans couldn’t stream the fixture as SABC Sport’s link didn’t work for some.
Bafana won the encounter 1-0 thanks to Lyle Foster scoring, but the reputation damage was done before the gamestartedf.
