Fulham's star player Rodrigo Muniz has been praised by manager Marco Silva, who believes the forward has a bright future ahead.
Muniz scored two goals in Fulham's 3-0 victory over Tottenham on Saturday, bringing his total for the season to eight. Despite being overshadowed by Raul Jimenez earlier in the season, an injury gave Muniz the chance to shine and he hasn't disappointed.

«It is not just the goals. It is the way he has been improving and the hard work he is putting in every single week from the start as well. It is paying off right now.»
Silva also revealed that he had pushed for the club to sign Muniz two years ago when he first joined as manager. He saw potential in the young player and believed he was the right fit for the club.
«First season was OK for him, I have to say it was a good one. Unfortunately, last season didn't work out for him but from the pre-season we felt he was going in the right direction.»

Injuries slowed down Muniz's progress, but he never gave up. Even when he wasn't included in the squad, he worked hard and seized his opportunity when it came. «This is the most important thing for a player and I am really pleased for him.»
«He deserves all the praise for what he has been achieving, but the good thing that I see is there is so many things for him to improve. There is much more to come from him.»
«We are here to develop him and to keep improving him. At the same time to be demanding more from him
