Chelsea take on Liverpool in the Carabao Cup final on Sunday afternoon — the first piece of silverware up for grabs in the English domestic season. It will be a rerun of the 2022 encounter which Liverpool won in an epic 11-10 penalty shootout.
The shootout was famous for Kepa Arrizabalaga being brought on in the last minute of extra-time, for the shootout, only to go and miss the decisive spot-kick with it locked at 10-10.
Both teams will be hoping it does not get to that stage, particularly because of the fixture lists of the two teams following Sunday's final. Both will want the game settled in normal time, but both managers have issues in terms of getting their most experienced players on the pitch.
Both Chelsea and Liverpool have big injury lists heading into what should be a big occasion. It may mean the clash is denied some of the best players from both sides.
There will, of course be an abundance of talent on both sides come Sunday, but there will be plenty left at home watching on too. Here we take a look at the injury lists of both sides...
