Harry Keane has been heavily criticised by the German media after Bayern Munich's defeat to Lazio in the Champions League.
Despite scoring an impressive 28 goals this season since leaving Tottenham for Bayern, Kane may end the season without a trophy again. Bayern started the campaign with a defeat in the German Super Cup and were knocked out of the domestic cup by third-tier Saarbrucken.
They are currently five points behind Bundesliga leaders Bayer Leverkusen after a 3-0 defeat to Xabi Alonso's side. Thomas Tuchel's men lost 1-0 to Lazio in the first leg of their Champions League last 16 tie on Wednesday and are in real danger of ending the campaign without winning a competition.
Kane, 30, was criticised for his performance in Rome. The German tabloid Bild gave him the lowest possible rating of six, with one being the best.
They wrote: «Missed a mega chance after seven minutes, but after that he couldn't connect with Bayern's attacking attempts at all. Totally signed off in the second half.»
Spurs and England's record goalscorer joined Bayern in an initial £86million deal in the summer transfer window. The club's technical director Michael Reschke recently said: «The Harry Kane story is very simple: together with [Erling] Haaland and [Kylian] Mbappe he is one of the best No.9s in the world.
