Kai Havertz has admitted he's looking forward to returning to the scene of his greatest triumph when Arsenal resume their Champions League campaign this week.
The Gunners travel to Porto for Wednesday's last-16 first leg tie and for the German it means being back at the stadium where he scored the winning goal in the 2021 Champions League final for Chelsea against Manchester City.
'I mean for me it will always be a nice memory, so I am looking forward to play there again,' said Havertz.
'I have good memories there and things that are always going to be in my heart in the future.
'Hopefully my team is going to have the same result at the end the game like it was three years ago.'
Arsenal are irresistible form on the domestic front with five consecutive wins yielding 21 goals, the last of which was scored by Havertz in a 5-0 romp at Burnley on Saturday.
Attention now switches to Europe and a competition the club has never won.
'I think every team that plays in the Champions League wants to win it. In the end, that's the goal of every team.
'There are two games to play now. Wednesday is the first one, we will try to win it and see for the other game.'
Havertz's versatility has seen him used by manager Mikel Arteta in both midfield and attack since a £65million switch to The Emirates from Chelsea last summer.
'I have said it many times, but I feel comfortable to play wherever,' adds Havertz.
'As you all know, I am not a player who is just in one position. I like to be flexible, and I think that is one of my strengths as well.
' I am going to give everything wherever I play - and that is the most important thing.
'Obviously, I think a pocket position suits me quite well, but wherever I play, I will give everything.'
