Mykhailo Mudryk has never started more than two games in a row for Chelsea since arriving from Shakhtar Donetsk in January
However, the youngster's love of lifting weights has raised concern at Stamford Bridge. According to The Athletic, Chelsea have told Mudryk to tone down the amount of time he spends in the gym before and after training.
Interestingly, a few years ago, Henry revealed that he never used the gym during his career. In an interview with Gary Neville for Sky Sports, the former Arsenal forward said: "It might surprise you but I never used to go to the gym, never!
"Nothing. Zero. I valued more minutes on the pitch than minutes in the gym. That's only me. I'm not saying it's right or wrong – it's only me.
"Because if I miss my cross [in the] 89th minute and Denis Bergkamp is in the box and it doesn't reach him –– and, and I was in the gym not working on my left-foot. Or my free-kicks or whatever it was I was working on. I value that more. Let me be on the field."
While Mudryk may benefit from heeding Henry's advice, Pochettino must be willing to meet the Ukrainian in the middle and finally provide him with starts for Chelsea. With more opportunities in the first-team, the club may start to see Mudryk reduce his time in the gym.
