Ray Parlour has revealed that he was left out of an Arsenal squad after headbutting a bar that left him needing eight stitches.
The former England international was on the night out with fellow Three Lions teammate and Chelsea midfielder Frank Lampard. However, the antics from the night out found its way back to former Gunners manager Arsene Wenger, who took action over the actions.
Parlour's North London career spanned 12 years where he made 339 league appearances, scoring 12 goals. During his time at Highbury, he won the Premier League three times, FA Cup on four occasions and the UEFA Cup Winners' Cup in 1993-94.

Despite enjoying a trophy-laden career in the capital, the 50-year-old's career wasn't without incident, as he described speaking to LuckyBlock.com, Parlour said: «He (Wenger) wasn't the sort of man to fall out with really.
»He'd leave you out, though. I remember I got left out once because I think I went over the top a little bit in the week. I remember I headbutted a bar, believe it or not.
«I got tangled up in the stool, somehow headbutted the bar and he found out about it. He left me out for a game or so but he was such a nice man and he would always try to do the best for you,» he added on Wenger.
«You'd run through a brick wall for him but I could argue I'd do it for any manager because I wanted Arsenal to be the best team they could be and I was an Arsenal fan.»
