Inter Miami have reportedly agreed a deal to sign former Liverpool forward Luis Suarez.
According to ESPN, Suarez, who is currently playing for Brazilian side Gremio, will sign a one-year deal with an option for a second. The 36-year-old will reportedly depart the Porto Alegre-based club at the end of the Serie A season in December.
Rumours about a potential Suarez move to South Florida have been circulating for a number of months, and should he move to the DRV PNK Stadium, he will link up with former Barcelona team-mates Lionel Messi, Sergio Busquets and Jordi Alba.

Suarez registered 82 goals in 133 appearances for Liverpool, including 31 in the 2013/14 campaign, as Brendan Rodgers's side came within a whisker of ending a 24-year wait for a league championship. He also won a League Cup in 2012 as the Reds beat Cardiff City in the final at Wembley.
Suarez spent six seasons playing alongside that trio at Camp Nou from 2014 to 2020, winning four Spanish La Liga titles and the 2015 UEFA Champions League. He also enjoyed two seasons with Atletico Madrid, helping the club to La Liga glory.
He signed a two-year contract with Gremio in December 2022, where he has scored eight times in 20 appearances. Speaking last month, Inter Miami coach Gerardo Martino confirmed his club's interest in signing the forward.
He said: "When the moment arrives to make Suarez's situation with respect to Inter Miami official, we'll be prepared to go in the corresponding direction.”
