Inter Milan coach Inzaghi hails victory over Fiorentina: The boys have a contagious enthusiasm
Inter Milan coach Simone Inzaghi was delighted with their rout of Fiorentina on Sunday.
Inter won 4-0 as Marcus Thuram, Lautaro Martinez (2) and Hakan Calhanoglu struck.
“The best thing? The reception from the supporters at full-time," Inzaghi told DAZN.
“We've played three excellent matches. Since July 13, the boys have been working well, they have a contagious level of enthusiasm. We know it's only the beginning, but these are excellent signs.
“We had three very good performances. The lads have been working well since July 13 and their enthusiasm is contagious. We know this is only the beginning, but these are some very encouraging signs.
“Thuram did very well, I was hoping he would get on the scoresheet and so I'm pleased.
“What we are doing very well at the moment is this determination not to concede goals, so all the players are sacrificing themselves to help out, including the strikers. We must continue like this."
Lautaro Martinez now has five goals in three Serie A matches and Inzaghi added: “Along with the goals, it is great to see how hard he works for the team. He is a leader and continually improving."
