Stephen Kenny has made three changes to his starting eleven for their penultimate Euro 2024 qualifier against Gibraltar in Faro, Portugal.
Following their disappointing 2-0 defeat to Greece at the Aviva Stadium on Friday night, Kenny has decided to relegate Nathan Collins, Alan Browne and Will Smallbone to the substitutes bench.
In their place come Mikey Johnston, who impressed late on against the Greeks, Jamie McGrath and Ryan Manning.
The Boys in Green look set to line-up in a 4-2-3-1 formation with Bazunu starting in goal, Doherty and Manning at fullback, Duffy and Scales at centre-back, Cullen and Knight holding midfielder while Ogbene, McGrath and Johnston will support Ferguson in attack.
The Republic will be aiming to do the double over Gibraltar following their 3-0 victory in Dublin back in June when Johnston, Ferguson and Idah grabbed the goals in the second half.
Kick off at the Estadio Algarve is at 7.45pm, and the game is live on RTÉ Two with coverage starting at 7pm.
REPUBLIC OF IRELAND: Bazunu, Doherty, Duffy, Scales, Manning; Cullen, Knight; Ogbene, McGrath, Johnston; Ferguson.
