Arsenal and Chelsea have been warned against signing Ivan Toney if Brentford demand £100million for his signature. The 27-year-old has been heavily linked with an exit from Brentford despite receiving an eight-month ban in the summer for breaching the FA's betting rules.
Although he's not played a minute in the English top-flight since May, Toney has remained one of the most coveted strikers in Europe. The England international, whose ban expired on Wednesday, will be eligible to finally make his full return on Saturday, January 20, when the Bees host Nottingham Forest in the Premier League.
By then, there will be less than two weeks left of the January transfer window. While Toney may have just 18 months left on his contract at the G-tech Community Stadium, Thomas Frank has demanded an 'unbelievable' fee for his frontman.

»He is here, we miss a few offensive players and I cannot see why we should sell him. I would love to have him here for a long time. It is not for me to discuss [an offer], but if I could ever recommend one, it would need to be an unbelievable price, so he will stay here."
It remains to be seen what Frank qualifies as an 'unbelievable' fee, but William Gallas expects Brentford to demand in the region of £100million – and he believes that is a deal breaker. Speaking to Gambling Zone, the Frenchman said: «How much would Arsenal or Chelsea pay for him?
