The Quansah family are ready to take over Goodison Park on Tuesday night when England Under-21s host Northern Ireland.
It has been a breakthrough season so far for Jarell Quansah, with the Liverpool starlet impressing in his nine appearances so far for Jurgen Klopp’s side. And such form has earned him international recognition under Lee Carsley.
Already an Under-19s European champion with England in 2022, the 20-year-old is now part of a young Lions squad that will be looking to defend the Under-21s European Championships title they won this summer.
Handed his maiden call-up in October, Quansah was handed his Under-21s debut as a substitute at Nottingham Forest’s City Ground in England’s 9-1 victory over Serbia last month. A second cap then followed in the return fixture on Saturday as the young Lions won 3-0 in Backa Topola.

But now Carsley’s men are set to take to the field a lot closer to home at Everton’s Goodison Park when they take on Northern Ireland in their latest qualifier on Tuesday.
Quansah admits it will be a surreal experience running out as a home player at the ground of Liverpool’s bitter local-rivals. Yet the Warrington-born defender will be granted the warmest of receptions with the largest of cheering circles making the short trip to Goodison.
