Harry Maguire is out of Manchester United's coming games but under-fire Erik ten Hag says Marcus Rashford and Luke Shaw are in line to feature for his absentee-hit side at bitter rivals Liverpool.
The Red Devils were humbled 3-0 at home to Bournemouth last weekend and went out of Europe with a whimper on Tuesday, 1-0 to Bayern Munich in their final Champions League group match.
Maguire and Shaw went off through injury against Bayern and the former has joined a lengthy list of absentees for the trip to Anfield, which includes suspended skipper Bruno Fernandes.
But Ten Hag provided a positive update on Shaw after his hamstring complaint and says Rashford is back from the illness that ruled him out of Tuesday's loss as United head to Liverpool.
'Harry will not be available for coming games, but don't think he is a long-term (issue),' the United boss said.
'Luke Shaw trained this morning, so we think he's available for Sunday. Marcus Rashford (is available).'
