Tottenham have very much signalled their intent for the remainder of the 2023/24 season and beyond when it comes to the January transfer window. At a time when Premier League clubs have remained very quiet in the transfer market, Johan Lange and Spurs sprung into action immediately to strengthen Ange Postecoglou's squad.
Timo Werner was the first to arrive on a season-long loan deal from RB Leipzig, with Spurs having the option to purchase the German international for £15.5million at the end of the campaign if they so wish. Two days later it was Radu Dragusin who arrived through the door at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium after joining from Genoa in a deal worth £21.5million and a further £4million in add-ons.
Tottenham fans will be hoping that is not the end of Lange and the club's transfer business when it comes to incomings, especially as Postecoglou stated last week that the Lilywhites are very much in the race for the title. But what else could happen in N17 before the 11pm deadline on Thursday, February 1? football.london takes a look.

Spurs do have a number of options in midfield, although Postecoglou currently has limited numbers to work with as Pape Matar Sarr and Yves Bissouma are on international duty and Giovani Lo Celso is in the treatment room.
What happens with Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg this month could potentially have an impact on whether or not Spurs move for a midfielder who can play in the No.8 role. The Dane has been linked with a move away from N17 ever since last summer but no transfer has yet to come to fruition for the ex-Southampton man.
