Former Las Palmas forward Jonathan Viera could become Almeria's new signing in the near future as he is not playing for any team after terminating his contract with his former club, according to 'AS'.
The Spanish midfielder has made nine appearances for Las Palmas, scoring two goals and providing one assist. He has not played a competitive match since 8 October 2023 in the win over Villarreal at La Ceramica stadium.
His quality and ability to score goals could help Almeria to be more decisive in the second half of the season. Moreover, he could link up well with Sergio Arribas on the pitch.
The 34-year-old could be reunited with his former club in the La Liga 29 matchday fixture, when Almeria visit Las Palmas to fight for their place in the Spanish top-flight.
