Jurgen Klopp has confirmed Liverpool stance on Kylian Mbappe transfer move
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has already shared his thoughts on a possible move for Kylian Mbappe.
The France captain has entered the last few months of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain and has perennially been linked with a move away from the Ligue 1 champions. Real Madrid has often been touted as Mbappe’s next destination, while Liverpool have also been consistently linked with an interest in the 25-year-old.
A fresh report from The Athletic has stated that Mbappe has informed PSG of his decision to leave the club at the end of the season. An official announcement is expected when the terms of his exit have been finalised. The report adds that Mbappe has already received an offer from Real Madrid as he can enter pre-contract talks with clubs outside of France.

The Reds - like most of Europe's elite clubs - have held a long-standing interest in Mbappe, stemming back to his time with Monaco. However, Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp admitted in the summer that he would be surprised if the club were able to get a deal for Mbappe over the line.
"We laugh about it," Klopp told Sky Germany, back in August. "I can say that I think he's a really good player but the financial conditions don't suit us at all. I wouldn't like to ruin the story now... but as far as I know, there's nothing to it.
"It's possible that someone else from the club is preparing something and wants to surprise me... that hasn't happened in the eight years that I've been here. That would be the first time."
