The Spurs boss will begin welcoming back his international stars in the coming days after the first break of the season concluded on Tuesday. Over the course of the international break, the north Londoners were provided with a number of brief scares.

The injury is believed to have been picked up during a training drill at the Newcastle based training camp, although all concerns were squashed when he was named in the starting XI in the 1-0 win over Saudi Arabia.
There was also a significant boost over Cristian Romero's fitness. The Argentine sparked fears over a potential injury when reports in South America suggested he had picked up a knock in the 1-0 win over Ecuador.
Romero trained ahead of the trip to Bolivia before playing the entirety of the 3-0 win on Tuesday night. Another key player who has been central to Postecoglou's start to life in England is James Maddison. The 26-year-old has started on fire in midfield to earn himself a place in England's XI against Ukraine on Saturday.
Maddison came away from the European Championship qualifier unscathed and is expected to return to Hotspur Way ready for Saturday having been rested in the 3-1 win over Scotland.
