Game of the week: Paris Saint-Germain v AS Monaco, Friday 20:00 (UK)
PSG haven’t beaten Monaco since December 2021 but they’ll be hoping to change that at the Parc des Princes on Friday. Les Parisiens are without Mqrquinhos and Warren Zaïre-Emery for the Principality club’s visit, but Monaco are themselves depleted and won’t be able to count on Youssouf Fofana, who is absent through suspension. It is an encounter that will see the league’s top two scoring teams meet so it feels as though there is a guarantee of goals.
Elsewhere, Julien Stéphan will be looking to begin his reign as manager of Rennes with a win against Reims, who will be looking to bounce back after a heavy defeat to PSG before the international break, whilst Lyon will be looking to go on a run after securing their first win of the season just before the international break. They may find it difficult against a Lille side that are becoming increasingly consistent.
