Daboub will be without three of his players as they could not leave Gaza in time to play Lebanon in the United Arab Emirates last week, which ended in a 0-0 draw.

“The players are in the hotel or on the bus most of the time following the news on their phones and communicating with their families,” Daboub told the Associated Press.
“They are in a constant state of anxiety with the continued aggression and war in Palestine.”
Speaking after the draw against Lebanon, Daboub felt it was only “natural” for his players to be thinking about their families and friends instead of football, but hoped some positive results could “bring a little happiness to our people.”
