Liverpool have been handed another injury boost on top of seeing four senior players return to training this week.
Trent Alexander-Arnold, Alisson Becker, Diogo Jota, and Stefan Bajcetic all took part in Tuesday’s team training session at the AXA Training Centre following lengthy enforced stints on the sidelines.
But they’re not the only players closing in on making a return for Jurgen Klopp’s side.

I almost went to Liverpool - the offer was very good but I didn’t want to complete 'dream' transfer
Ben Doak has stepped up his rehabilitation after posting a picture of himself running outside at the AXA Training Centre on social media on Tuesday evening. Accompanied by the word, ‘almost’ and an hourglass emoji, the Scotland Under-21s international is also poised to make a comeback before the end of the season.
The 18-year-old has made five first team appearances so far this season, and was included in a further 10 matchday squads. However, the forward has been sidelined since suffering a meniscus tear in his knee in a Premier League 2 appearance against Chelsea back in December, with the injury requiring him to undergo surgery.
One of the most highly-rated starlets in the Reds’ academy following his £600k move from Celtic in the summer of 2022, ironically the winger’s absence coincided with a wider injury crisis in Klopp’s first-team squad, which resulted in a plethora of youngsters stepping up to complement his senior ranks.
Doak has made 10 appearances for Liverpool to date and signed a new long-term contract with the Reds last September.
