Liverpool learn asking price for attacker with 16 goal contributions this season

Liverpool are hoping to sign Bayern Munich attacker Jamal Musiala at the end of the season.

According to a report from Football Insider, Liverpool rate the 21-year-old highly and they are keen to secure his services at the end of the season. However, they will face competition from Manchester City and the German club have set an asking price of around £100 million for the attacker.

Musiala has two years left on his current contract with the German club and they are under no pressure to sell him this summer. Liverpool and Manchester City will have to pay the asking price if they want to secure his services. Bayern Munich are prepared to tie him down to a new long-term contract as well. However, the youngster has already rejected proposals from them.

It will be interesting to see if Liverpool manage to arrange the funds for the 21-year-old in the summer. Mohamed Salah has been linked with the move away from the club with Saudi Arabian clubs keen on the Egyptian. If they manage to sell the 31-year-old in the summer, they might have the resources to sign Musiala.
