Liverpool not willing to renew Thiago Alcantara's contract
Liverpool's Thiago Alcantara has only played one game this season due to constant injuries. A bleak outlook that has led to the Reds not considering the player's renewal for the time being, according to 'Relevo'.
Thiago's contract with the Merseyside outfit expires in 2025 and his future seems to be far from Liverpool. His high salary and the high competition of players like Mac Allister or Szobozslai do not help the Spaniard to extend his contract with the club that signed him from Bayern Munich in 2020.
During his four seasons in England, Thiago has made 98 appearances. In those games he has scored 3 goals and provided 6 assists. These are very poor figures for a player who should have been important in midfield for Jurgen Klopp.
'Relevo' also revealed that the former Barcelona man is awaiting an offer from Saudi football. This would mean one last big contract for Thiago before retirement.
