Mohamed Salah has been heavily linked with a move away from Anfield in recent seasons and Saudi Pro League sides are expected to mount a fresh attempt to snap him up this summer
As previously reported by Mail Sport, Al-Ittihad launched a staggering £200milion bid for Salah last summer, although the Reds were able to resist the approach.
But with new offers expected at the end of the campaign, and with Jurgen Klopp to shortly step down from his role, talk has again turned to a potential Salah exit.
Former Liverpool defender Jose Enrique believes this could influence Salah's decision to end his stint at Anfield.
Speaking to Grosvenor Sport, the Spaniard said: 'If the right offer comes then I think Salah will leave because I think he was actually trying to leave last summer. They were offered something like £200 million for him last summer and that was a real offer!
'When you get an offer like that, usually it means there is already an agreement between the player and the club. I think Salah had already agreed to go and I believe that he will finally go to Saudi Arabia this summer.'
'Jurgen Klopp is leaving so it is the perfect time for Salah to go. There is a new cycle happening at Liverpool and lots of changes, so it is perfect for him. This will likely be the final big contract of his career, so I think he'll leave for Saudi Arabia.'
Salah will have just 12 months left on his £300,000-a-week contract in the summer and Liverpool may have to choose between cashing in or offering a new mega deal.
Should he leave, Enrique has identified a few potential replacements.
He added: 'Mohammed Kudus is someone that I think could be a replacement for Salah.
'Even last summer I would have said that and now of course he is playing really well
