Liverpool up the ante in pre-season training as Mo Salah and Co ride bikes around Germany
Liverpool upped the ante in their pre-season training on Saturday as the squad took to the road on bikes.
Mo Salah and Co donned helmets as they cycled around the towns in Germany in preparation for their game against Karlsruher on Wednesday.
The Reds have been training in Germany after landing on Saturday but are yet to play their opening pre-season game with the start of the season now under a month away.
All of the club's players are now back in training however after an extended break for international stars, though Fabinho was left out of the 32-man travelling party as interest in his services from Saudi Arabia increases.
Jordan Henderson, meanwhile, did travel to manager Jurgen Klopp's homeland for the camp despite reportedly agreeing a deal to move to the middle east.
Al Hilal, the Saudi team managed by Nuno Espirito Santo, have made a significant bid for the Brazil international midfielder and Liverpool felt it was prudent to leave Fabinho on Merseyside while discussions continue for his potential sale.
It is a significant moment for Liverpool, as Fabinho - so often called 'The Hoover' by Jurgen Klopp - has been an integral part of their team since he arrived from Monaco in 2018 and established himself as one of the best holding midfielders in the business.
But he is seemingly nearing a £40million deal to move away from the club in the latest move of what has been a heavy midfield reshuffle at the club.
New signings Alexis Mac Allister and Dominik Szoboszlai could make their debuts for Klopp's side during Wednesday's game.
Liverpool will also face Furth while in Germany, with the game taking place on Monday July 24 at midday.
