Luke Littler made it back-to-back Premier League Darts wins with a 6-3 triumph over Gerwyn Price in Manchester on Thursday.
In his debut campaign as part of the eight-player tournament, Luke 'The Nuke' claimed his first victory on Night 9 in Belfast last week. Following it up on Night 10 in Manchester, the 17-year-old saw off Michael van Gerwen in the quarter-final and Nathan Aspinall in the semi-final before taking the final by three clear sets.
That semi-final victory brought with it a smattering of boos, given 'The Asp' is from nearby Stockport and had support from the local crowd. But Littler stood strong to go on and win the night, later stating that Manchester United's loss to Chelsea gave him added motivation.

How Luke Littler has taken darts world by storm after thrilling debut
"I was in a bad mood. I was like, 'I'm winning this now'. It gave me motivation," he told Sky Sports. "There were a few Manchester United fans on the walkout so I was glad to win.
"I've definitely settled into it [Premier League Darts]. The first five or six weeks, I won then lost and lost. I've grown in confidence. There's still six weeks to go, but I'm sure if I keep getting two or three points a week I will get into the play-offs."
Prior to his two successes, the Warrington native sat fifth in the competition's standings having won 13 points from seven match wins. Fast-forward to now and he leads the table ahead of past and present world champions, sitting on 23 points and in prime position to qualify among the top four for the Premier League Darts' play-offs at London's O2 Arena on Thursday, May 23.
Qualifying would be a major step on what has already been a successful debut season
