Harry Maguire has reflected on Man United's celebrations after their FA Cup semi-final victory over Coventry City.
United edged past their Championship opponents at Wembley on Sunday, but their victory wasn't without drama after they squandered a three-goal lead before triumphing 4-2 on penalties.
Coventry also had a goal chalked off in extra time by VAR when USA striker Haji Wright was marginally offside before he squared to Victor Torp to tuck home.
The chaotic clash capped the latest underwhelming performance and dismal collapse by the Red Devils in a season that has been marred by problems both on and off the field.
After Rasmus Hojlund tucked home the winning penalty, most of United's players refused to celebrate too much, with the likes of Maguire going over to console, shake hands with, and praise Coventry's players.
However, his team-mate Antony was criticised for cupping his ear in celebration towards Coventry's players and fans.
And, speaking on the nervy victory and those scenes at the end of the game, Maguire reflected on the feeling of relief.
'The way that the game went, it was just crazy to be involved in,' he told Sky Sports. 'I think in the couple of hours from the start of the game to the end of the game, the amount of emotion you went through, you're just feeling probably a little bit of relief.
'I don't think we needed to celebrate too hard. We let ourselves down in the last 20 minutes of normal time and to play for this club, it involves huge responsibility, and we didn't take responsibility in that last 20 minutes of the game.
'But like I said, the way that the game ended, we were disappointed with the way we acted.'
