The Good Place and She Hulk: Attorney at Law star Jameela Jamil confirmed she is now unable to attend Liverpool Comic Con.
The convention is returning this month, having last been in the city in April. The presenter and actress posted a statement via the event's Facebook page confirming the news today, October 4.

Posting her update from what appeared to be her home, Jameela was quick to address fans and tell them the sad news.
She said: "Hello anyone who happened to be coming to see me at Liverpool Con. I'm so sorry but I can't come. I will not be able to make it this year due to a variety of different, incredibly infuriating circumstances, but I hope you have the best time and I'm gutted, and I'm sure we will meet again."
Jameela was originally a presenter and DJ before landing her iconic role as Tahani Al-Jamil in NBC's The Good Place, a TV comedy about four people in the afterlife. Jameela is also known as an activist, regularly using her Instagram page to promote body positivity.
Fans took to the comments of the video to express their sadness at her news. Han Taverner wrote: "On noooo so gutted, bought my photo op ages ago." Chloe Darby added: "So sad about this, I was going to cosplay Tahani."
Nicola said: "This makes me very sad Jameela because I was so looking forward to meeting you. Maybe to make it up to me you could get Beyoncé on the podcast?!"
There are still many celebrities gearing up to attend the event, including The Last Of Us star Bella Ramsey and iconic film and TV actress Helena Bonham-Carter. Iconic pair Nick Frost and Simon Pegg are also set to reunite.
