Sir Jim Ratcliffe has reluctantly admitted that he'd like Arsenal to win the Premier League title this season - rather than Manchester United's biggest rivals Liverpool and Manchester City.
United's new minority shareholder was quizzed about the battle at the top of the table when appearing on cycling legend Geraint Thomas's podcast. The best the Red Devils can hope for is qualification for the Champions League.
While they did get one over Liverpool on Sunday, winning a classic FA Cup encounter 4-3 at Old Trafford, United are out of the running for top spot in the Premier League. Instead the championship looks set to go the way to one of the current top three.
And asked who he'd like to finish in pole position, Ratcliffe, a lifelong Red Devil, said: "I hate them all. Well, you have got Liverpool, Man City and Arsenal. No, I don't know. They are all the enemy. I couldn't possibly choose."

Thomas then claimed he hope Arsenal will win the battle for the title after being pipped at the post by City last season. That led to Ratcliffe admitting that "it would be good" if the Gunners beat City and Liverpool as reward for the patience they have shown in manager Mikel Arteta.
"It would be good for Arteta, I think," Ratcliffe said. "It would be good for him. Because he has done really well and Arsenal have been patient with him, which is nice as well."
