Manchester United are back in Premier League action on Wednesday night as they welcome relegation favourites Sheffield United to Old Trafford.
The Red Devils advanced into their second consecutive FA Cup final on Sunday, but it was hard to find a United supporter that was particularly enamoured by the club's achievement. Erik ten Hag's side, who raced into a 3-0 lead, were incredibly fortunate to bypass second-tier outfit Coventry at Wembley.
Their collapse in the capital — despite their eventual triumph on penalties — depicted a club struggling to move forward with this manager and current crop of players.
And with the Premier League unlikely to have five teams competing in the Champions League next season, their hopes of competing in Europe's premier club competition are as good as over. United are currently 16 points adrift of fourth-place Aston Villa having played two games fewer.
Still, they'll be expected to overcome a Sheffield Utd side that are winless since February 10 and will likely return to the Championship next season. Back-to-back defeats to Brentford and Burnley have all but consigned Chris Wilder's men to the drop.
Here's preview of Wednesday's Premier League clash.
