The list of clubs lining up to sign Lille OSC’s Leny Yoro (18) is getting longer. The France youth international has been the subject of enquiries from Manchester United, Bayern Munich, Real Madrid, and Paris Saint-Germain according to RMC Sport journalist Fabrice Hawkins.
As reported by Téléfoot, Liverpool are also amongst the list of clubs interested in signing Yoro, who this season has become indispensable at the heart of Lille’s defence. However, he may not stay with Les Dogues for too long. Whilst there was hope that Lille could garner a record fee for the defender, RMC Sport now report that whilst a contract extension offer is on the table for Yoro, the Frenchman is unlikely to accept it.
As a result, Yoro will have just one year on his contract come the summer. It is unlikely that Yoro will leave Lillet this winter, despite PSG’s best attempts to sign the player, but a summer departure is looking almost certain. Yoro, who is represented by Jorge Mendes, has been the subject of enquiries from some of Europe’s elite, and Lille will now hope that a bidding war ensues.
