Manchester United-linked defender Leny Yoro will not be moving to Old Trafford this month, Lille's president has confirmed.
The Reds are one of many European sides - along with Paris Saint-Germain and Tottenham Hotspur - to be linked with a move for the 18-year-old defender, who is catching the eye in Ligue 1 this season.
But with Lille targeting Champions League qualification this campaign and currently sitting two points off the final qualification place, president Olivier Letang has ruled out the imminent sale of Yoro, telling Le Parisien: “Yoro will not leave in January, so there are no negotiations. No discussions, contrary to what some suggest. I read somewhere that I had set a price. (That is also) completely false.”
The French youth international, who has started 16 of Lille's 18 Ligue 1 games this season, has less than 18 months remaining on his current deal and is represented by super-agent Jorge Mendes' Gestifute.

Talks of a move to Old Trafford come in a season in which United have suffered injuries at the heart of defence, with Lisandro Martinez and Raphael Varane starting just 13 Premier League games between them this term.
It has meant that 36-year-old Johnny Evans, who re-signed for United in a shock move last summer, has been relied on more than first planned by manager Erik ten Hag.
The Reds are currently awaiting approval of Sir Jim Ratcliffe's stake in the club after the INEOS chairman agreed a deal with the Glazer family, worth over £1 billion, for a 25 per cent stake in the club.
