Manchester United captain, Bruno Fernandes, is at risk of a two-match suspension ahead of the Liverpool game.
The midfielder is just two yellow cards away from a two-match ban. He has already received eight yellow cards this season. If a player gets 10 yellow cards in their club's first 32 Premier League matches, they are automatically banned for two games.
Fernandes has already had one suspension this season after getting five yellow cards. This meant he missed the 0-0 draw with Liverpool on December 17. Now, he could miss league fixtures against Bournemouth and Sheffield United if he receives a yellow card against Chelsea on Thursday and Liverpool on Sunday.

If he doesn't get his 10th yellow card before the Bournemouth game, the Liverpool fixture will be the last game where he needs to be careful not to get banned.
Fernandes, who played as a centre-back for a period during United's exciting FA Cup win over Liverpool before the international break, has only been booked once in the last nine Premier League games. This happened in the recent game against Fulham. He is the player from United who has been booked the most this season.
Fernandes is one of many players in the league who are close to getting banned. But Nicolas Jackson from Chelsea and Bruno Guimaraes from Newcastle United are even closer to getting suspended.
They both have nine yellow cards. Chelsea still have four more games to play before they reach their first 32 games of the season, which is when the cut-off point is.
