The countdown to Christmas has started as the Matalan Alder Hey pyjamas have officially been released.
For ten years Matalan has released a pyjama collection to raise money for Liverpool’s Alder Hey Children’s Charity. The campaign has is hugely popular, with many shoppers buying multiple pairs for the whole family to wear in the run-up to the festive season.
The pyjamas always have a different design, with fans excited to see what each new collection will look like. In previous years we’ve seen spots, stars, stripes and positive slogans, with celebrities including Alesha Dixon, Denise Van Outen and Mark Wright among those who have supported the campaign.

But this year is extra special, the 2023 #TogetherForAlderHey campaign, is an overall celebration of the success over the past 10 years, including taking time to reflect on the families and ambassadors from previous campaigns, money raised annually and the amazing past designs, which all come together for this year’s print. The pyjamas have incorporated all iconic designs over the last decade.
A new Snuggle Hoodie will also be available online for adults and children, however, it’s limited in numbers, and this year will see the return of Oli the elephant. 100% of all profits from the campaign will go towards the Alder Hey Children’s Hospital Charity.
