Deivid Washington and Alex Matos were in action for Chelsea Under-21s against Manchester on Friday night. The exciting duo, who both joined the Blues this past summer, impressed at the City Academy Stadium with Washington scoring on his first start.
Matos was utilised in a midfield two and showed his quality on the ball to help the Blues come from a goal down. While focus would have been on Washington and Matos, a different young Blues star stole the show with a wonderful solo goal that gave many supporters Eden Hazard reminders.
