Chelsea have been beaten in the Carabao Cup final at Wembley Stadium. Extra-time was required to settle the match, with Virgil van Dijk grabbing the all important late, late goal two minutes from the end of extra-time.
He thought he had won it in the second half of normal time, but VAR intervened. Chelsea had their chances, with Conor Gallagher missing a couple and against an inexperienced Liverpool side by the end, will feel they missed a massive opportunity.

Enzo Fernandez could be seen beating the turf angrily in the middle of the pitch early on in the game. He went in for a 50/50 with Alexis Mac Allister following a loose ball and came off worse.
Chelsea lost possession as a result and Liverpool had a chance that was easily dealt with. However, he will not have been happy a few seconds later.
Fernandez could be seen gesticulating to Djordje Petrovic to calm things down and slow the game a bit, with the match frantic in the early stages.
Passing the ball to Axel Disasi, the Frenchman proceeded to slip giving the ball away and Petrovic needed to be at his best to beat away a fierce drive from Luis Diaz.
