Chelsea boss Mauricio Pochettino has opened up on a possible deal for former Liverpool captain Jordan Henderson during the January transfer window.
The 33-year-old parted ways from Anfield this summer as he joined Liverpool legend Steven Gerrard in the Middle East, after accepting a reported £700,000-per-week deal at Al Ettifaq.
However, according to the Daily Mail, the England international is now eager to cut his time in Saudi Arabia short and return to the Premier League, as he continues to struggle with the weather conditions and abuse he received after making the move.

Clubs such as Newcastle United, Fulham and Crystal Palace have all been credited with an interest in midfielders throughout the early stages of the January transfer window, which could open the door for a potential return for Henderson in the coming weeks.
Speaking to football.london in a recent press conference, Chelsea boss Pochettino was asked whether or not Henderson would be a player the club considered bringing in amongst their ranks, given his new-found availability on the transfer market. "To be honest we didn't talk about names," he replied.
"At the moment we are not talking about bringing players. I saw Behdad here in the manager's room with Paul and Laurence. I think tomorrow we are going to have a chat because we will be in the training ground.
"We didn't talk about names or talk about position, we didn't talk to bring players. For now, we are focusing on players like Andrey Santos to see what we are going to do."
