For Richie Kyle, only one question has been on the lips of his two children as he prepares for Luton Town’s trip to Goodison Park this afternoon.
The Hatters assistant manager knows all about trips to the Old Lady. He spent most of his youth watching Everton as a fan, alongside family and friends.
Now, however, he is preparing for what he describes as the most surreal afternoon of his career so far as the club that employs him takes on the club he grew up supporting.

“That’s a fascinating question, and a really interesting question,” he replies to the ECHO when asked who his two young children will be supporting today.
“My little girl Abigail, who understands it a little bit more, and George, my boy, who is five, have been asking the same question.
“'Daddy, who do we support when we go to Everton?' So I have had to tell them no Everton scarves, no Everton badges, no Everton tops, and you are going to be with the Luton staff in the Main Stand.
“I said you can’t be wearing anything to do with Everton. I think they understand it, but we will soon find out. But they are really looking forward to it.
“My mum and wife are also coming, and I think they are just proud that I’m in the Premier League, but the kids have split allegiances.
“Luton, already, especially after Wembley, has been a massive part of their young life, so they have got a decision to make on Saturday, but I have told them they need to be supporting Luton."
