Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta has hinted at a possible move for Paris Saint-Germain's star striker Kylian Mbappe. The footballer is set to leave the French team at the end of the season after deciding not to extend his contract, and has regularly been linked with a move to Anfield in recent years.
Real Madrid are currently the favourites to sign him, but their recent offer is reportedly much lower than what was proposed in summer 2022 and is also lower than his current salary.
Arsenal and Liverpool have been mentioned as one of the clubs interested in Mbappe. Despite no solid interest yet and his wage demands being a significant hurdle, Arteta has given the biggest hint so far about their interest.

Mbappe still has the Ligue 1 title and Champions League to play for with PSG before he leaves. However, the next few months are expected to be filled with speculation and rumours.
