Richards Bay will take on Polokwane City in the Round of 32 of the Nedbank Cup at the King Zwelithini Stadium on Saturday evening. Kick-off is at 6pm CAT (SA, GMT +2).

Relegation threatened Richards Bay’s last league match in the DStv Premiership ended in a 3-1 defeat against Sekhukhune United. In December, before the Africa Cup of Nations break, the KZN side beat SuperSport United 3-1 and prior to that, they lost 1-0 to Kaizer Chiefs.
On the other hand, Polokwane City are on a three-match unbeaten run, having won 1-0 against Moroka Swallows in their last match. They held Mamelodi Sundowns to a goalless draw in December and beat Chippa United 2-1.
WHAT WAS SAID
Richards Bay are still undergoing a bit of a transition period after parting ways with their former coach Kaitano Tembo, with Vusi Vilakazi being appointed caretaker coach. Speaking of the situation at the club, Vilakazi is confident in his players to get results.
“We have a lot of youngsters recruited from the ABC Motsepe League and Motsepe Foundation Championship and this experience is needed so we can survive the situation we are in,” he said.
Polokwane City defensive midfielder Lucky Baloyi shared his thoughts on drawing the Natal Rich Boys in the Nedbank Cup.
“Personally, I was looking forward to drawing a team that plays in the same league as us [the DStv Premiership], so that we can manage them because we know the players," said Baloyi.
