New direct flights have been launched to an African port city.
Passengers can now fly to Casablanca in Morocco from Manchester Airport with Royal Air Maroc, with direct routes starting from June. The new scheduled flights join the already existing services to other Moroccan cities including the capital Marrakech.
Casablanca is described an an ideal gateway for people who want to discover the "new" Morocco with traditional architecture alongside modernity. It is the first time before the pandemic that passengers from the region will be able to fly directly to Casablanca.

The flights will operate three times a week on Tuesday, Thursday and Sunday and will take round three hours and 30 minutes on a Boeing 737-800 aircraft.
