Eric Dier makes Daniel Levy FFP admission and reveals why Ange Postecoglou does not do tactics

Eric Dier has claimed that Ange Postecoglou's Tottenham training sessions do not contain tactical work which ties in with some comments the Australian made at the weekend.

Spurs lie fourth in the Premier League table and after Sunday's 3-1 win against Nottingham Forest, Postecoglou admitted that at this early stage of his tenure at the north London club, he is working more on making his attacking style of play instinctive in his players before drilling down into deeper tactical detail.

«It's a constant evolution of this team,» he explained in a post-match club interview. «It's very much broad strokes. It's not about the detail at the moment, it's about trying to develop the identity of what we want to be as a team and the game model doesn't change because of one game or a couple of performances and the players are responding to that.»

So when Dier, currently on loan at Bayern Munich before a permanent move there this summer, was asked during a recent interview with Gary Neville whether the Australian was the most tactical manager he had worked with, his answer backed up Postecoglou's comments.
