College football fans surely know about the so-called “New Year’s Six,” a series of six major Division 1 bowl games hat occur on or around New Year’s Day.
The New Year’s Six consists of the Rose Bowl, Orange Bowl, Sugar Bowl, Cotton Bowl, Peach Bowl, and Fiesta Bowl. These are six of the oldest bowl games and also feature the top schools and teams in the country, as they head toward the College Football Playoff National Championship. The New Year’s Six also mark the end of the NCAA football bowl season.
This year, there are five bowl games taking place on New Year’s Day.
