Much depends on Sessegnon's fitness and whether Postecoglou feels he is better served as a back-up for the left-back spot than heading out. The 23-year-old returned to action against Burnley in the FA Cup after 11 months without playing a game due to the hamstring problems that required surgery in the summer and he picked up a little niggle after putting his body back into the rigours of the game.
